How to dial out from a Thuraya sat phone:

• Dial 00 + Country Code + Phone Number. For example, to call a US number you would dial 00-1- 10-digit phone number 

How To Communicate With a Thuraya Satellite Phone Satellite Phone

• Dial 011+ the satellite phone number (88216-xxxx-xxxx)
• For Free SMS* - Go to https://sms.thuraya.com/ and fill out the form.

*Maximum Message length including your (sender’s) name is 160 characters. 

How to upload a Thuraya scratch code (Prepaid Subscribers Only)

You must first make a first call before you can upload. Here are the instructions for loading the time onto the phone. The account must be refilled through the phone directly in Satellite Mode (not GSM). There are three ways to upload:

1. Dial 160 followed by the 14 digits of the scratch card and press the call button
2. Dial 151 and follow instructions
3. Send the 14 digit scratch card code via SMS to 150
