So you've activated ExtremeTrackPro service for your Iridium Extreme satellite phone, and now you need to set up your satellite phone to work on the portal and start tracking. Before setting up the Iridium device it is important that you have already received a welcome email with your username and password for www.extremetrackpro.com and that you are able to login in. If you have not yet received that email please check your junk email and bulk email folders to see if it landed there. If you still cannot find it please it contact supportdesk@atlanticrt.com.
Configure the Iridium Extreme device:
- On the Iridium keypad, enter *#575# - This puts the phone in portal registration mode.
- Once in portal registration mode, click the soft key under "Register" - This take you to the page to enter your ExtremeTrackPro PIN Code.
- Got to www.extremetrackpro.com and login to your account.
- Click on Options > Users > Your Username > View Assigned Devices > Your Device > Advanced.
- Scroll down to find the PIN Code.
- Then enter that PIN Code from the portal on your Iridium Extreme handset.
- Your Iridium Extreme is now linked to the portal.
After you have linked the device you can also set up your reporting intervals if you want the device to send tracking points in automatically. Keep in mind that the device will only report when it is on and connected to the network. It is also important to consider the cost implication of the reporting interval you set. Please check your plan and make sure you understand what your reporting interval will cost.
You can set the reporting interval in the ExtremeTrackPro portal as follows:
Click on Options > Users > Your Username > View Assigned Devices > Your Device > Reporting Rate
You can also set the reporting interval on the Iridium Extreme handset as follows:
Press Menu > Setup > Location Options > Message Options > Regular Update
